Began training exclusively in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu in 1991.
​
A long-time student of Bill Atkins and Abi Allen.
​
Recieved Shidoshi license in 2004 after passing the Godan test (test was given by Hatsumi Sensei).
​
Has 30+ years of Martial Arts and sport coaching experience.
​
Has traveled to Japan several times to train with Hatsumi Sensei and other Japanese Shihan.
Has attended many Tai Kais and seminars featuring:
Bill Atkins, Abi Allen, Mark O’Brien, Kevin Millis,
Ed Martin, Sveneric Bogsater, Pedro Fleitas, Anton Phipps, Bernard Gregoire, Mike Loonam, Lubos Pokorny, Ben Hollins and Rory Miller.

Is a long-time resident of Okotoks and has been actively involved in the community as a volunteer.
